Capturing the unbroken spirit of Ukraine.
During the cold war, the USSR banned Western music, citing it to be a propaganda machine, spreading anti-Soviet, pro-West messages. This spawned a blackmarket, flooded with bootleg Western records pressed into X-ray plates, known as Bone Records.
We modernise and subvert this piece of music history, showing the strength of a nation and its culture by releasing the tracks via records pressed into actual X-Ray plates of Ukrainians.
True to the unbroken spirit of the Ukraine, we show only those who have healed from physical injuries during the conflict, and continue to fight, reflecting the strength and defiance of the nation.
